This event is part of a $10,000 fund raising effort by the Leadership Petaluma 2013-2014 class to support Petaluma’s Committee on the Shelterless. Specifically, the funds are supporting three repair projects in local, transitional housing for families in need. The main project will build a kids’ play structure, rebuild a fence, and a new backyard surface for a home that houses several families with children. Two smaller projects will install a new floor and repaint the exterior of two other transitional homes in Petaluma. COTS programs are twice as effective as the national average – learn more in the link below.
